Ollerton WI

by | 11 June 2021 | Sherwood, Social Group, WI

Ollerton WI members have been really busy during the pandemic and have still very much been keeping in touch with each other. They have enjoyed lots of Zoom calls, phone calls and received newsletters through their doors.
In May they took part in chair Pilates on Zoom, when Hayley Clarke led a gentle exercise class, and on 3rd June, Helen Ainley from the WI will be hosting a craft evening on Zoom. A few ladies from the group are also collecting all sorts of things together for ladies refuge, which has turned out a great success – a big thank you for all the ladies’ work in collecting and distributing items. Plus, their walking group is still active and they had three sets of members walking round Clumber Park last month, and they managed a well-earned cup of tea or coffee half way.
Ollerton WI are looking forward to meeting up again soon, hopefully on 1st July. So, if you’re interested in the group and would like to know more about them and what they get up to please get in touch them. They meet, when it’s safe to do so, at the Jubilee Hall, Wellow Road, Ollerton, and can be contacted on 01623 860530, 07982 429176, or via the town hall on 01623 860811.
