Ollerton WI president Janet Godwin laid flowers at Old Ollerton Memorial Gardens on behalf of Ollerton and Boughton WI to commemorate the life and reign of Queen Elizabeth II.
The group would like to invite the whole of Ollerton, Boughton and surrounding villages to their panto. Tickets are already selling well to Cinderella “The Flipper Sits”, ahead of performances at Ollerton Jubilee Hall on Thursday 15th December and Friday 16th December at 7.30pm and Saturday 17th December at 2.00pm. Ollerton WI’s scarecrows for this year’s village competition are Cinderella and Prince Charming and they look great. They are also having a cake stall on Sunday 27th November at the Jubilee Hall, Wellow Road, Ollerton. There will be homemade cakes and jams, so go along and have a chat.
In early December they have organised a Christmas shopping trip and a theatre trip is booked for next year to see the Wizard of Oz.
