On Maunday Thursday, 29th March, members of Ollerton Methodist Church distributed 120 knitted angels around Boughton. The angels were left hanging on house gates and were to mark the church’s celebration of Easter. Along with the angels was a message containing an Easter blessing and the contact number of the church.
“We had heard about other churches doing this and decided it would be a nice idea to bless our local community,” said church member Janet Gibson.
The church distributed a small number this year but plan to put out more in the future.
