Visit your local libraries!

Ollerton Library is located on Forest Road, next to the Post Office. There’s lots of services available at the Library and online at www.inspireculture.org.uk, too.

Summer Reading Challenge

This year’s theme is Marvellous Makers and the starting date is Saturday 6th July.

Children taking part can discover new stories, join in with free activities at the library and explore their creativity – from junk modelling to music, dance to drawing and painting. The Summer Reading Challenge aims to build confidence in young readers and keep their reading up during the school holidays.

They will need to borrow and read six books from the library over the summer. Children can read any books they like – from chapter books, comics or even information books.

Collect stickers on your reading journey! When participants complete the challenge, they will receive a special certificate, medal and they will be entered into a prize draw.

The library will also be running Marvellous Maker’s themed activities and crafts throughout summer so drop in anytime they are open or check their Facebook page!
