This spring’s major choral event locally is devoted to Petite Messe Solennelle by Rossini, performed by the North Notts Chamber Choir. Written for Parisian audiences in 1864, this charming Mass is neither small nor solemn, instead dancing with joy and vitality. Audiences can look forward to a richly melodious and highly entertaining evening of exceptional choral music.
