Major Oak Pop Choir

by | 7 June 2024 | Music, Sherwood

The ladies of the Major Oak Pop Choir are looking forward to a busy summer which will see them performing a set of three concerts with their usual feel-good programme of songs to ensure an uplifting experience for their audiences.

As usual the choir will be raising funds for local charities.
Their concert on 21st June will be in aid of local animal welfare charity Beauty’s Legacy, which was founded by choir member Lisa Dean. Lisa has been working very hard to organise this concert, and has secured the most stunning venue with cabaret style tables in an indoor marquee under chandeliers with twinkling lights all around at the John Fretwell Centre, Mansfield.

Featuring current missing animals, and some lovely ‘reunited’ stories, it promises to be a very moving and uplifting night, celebrating the power of love, friendship and triumph over adversity. There will also be a licensed bar, and some superb raffle prizes including a weekend stay at Lakeside Fishery in Ranskill, and a Racing Car experience. You won’t want to miss this!

Tickets are just £10.00 (£5.00 for under 16’s) and are selling fast. Why not book a table of ten for family and friends? You won’t be disappointed. To book tickets call Lisa Dean on 07866 026343 or email
