Last month Sherwood Forest Brass was pleased to present Florence and Matilda Mondschein with Achievement Certificates to recognise their progress within the band’s training programme. These were the latest awards, and with several new starters in recent weeks they hope to be presenting some more soon.
The band offer teaching within their weekly rehearsal schedule and have instruments available for every age and ability. Instrument hire is free and if you don’t read music they will teach you. Tuition is free from a qualified musician.
They are currently rehearsing a varied programme in preparation for this season’s concerts. If you play an instrument or have played in the past go along and join in with them on a Monday evening, from 7.00pm to 9.00pm at Clipstone Social Club, Clipstone NG21 9AL.
