Jones & Co Solicitors are proud to announce the fantastic success of their first ever Charity Golf Day, which took place on 16th May 2025 and raised an impressive £2,250 for the local mental health charity In Sam’s Name.
Held at Rufford Park Golf Club, the event brought together clients, colleagues, friends, and supporters for a day of sport, fundraising and community spirit — all under glorious sunshine and blue skies. The weather couldn’t have been better, and it helped to make the occasion even more enjoyable.
The day was played in great spirits, with plenty of laughter, friendly competition and, in some cases, very questionable golfing outfits! While there was some excellent golf on display, it’s safe to say the Jones & Co teams weren’t exactly troubling the top of the leaderboard — but it was all in the name of charity and good fun.
Most importantly, the event was held in support of In Sam’s Name, a local mental health initiative created in memory of Sam, whose story continues to inspire action and support within the community. The funds raised will go directly towards the charity’s vital work in helping people talk, listen and look out for each other.
