He was 94 years old, he developed dementia in the last year of his life after my mum passed away in 2017, so I’m doing this in loving memory of both parents! I am a gay autistic 38-year-old man. It’s a website about being both autistic and gay; it’s a useful website with information to help and educate people about raising awareness of autism and being a part of the LGBT community. I have braved the shave for cancer in loving memory of my mum who battled cancer and beat it but sadly passed away in September 2017 and my dad passed away in February 2018. I think we need to continue to strive for better equality and fairness of opportunity for those who identify as LGBT+ and those on the autistic spectrum, and to tackle abuse and discrimination where they occur this is one of many campaigns I support.
