Dear readers of Sherwood Life magazine, my name is Alan John William Albert Willis and I have decided to write this article for you to introduce you to my website and Facebook page. Please like and share and do feel free to subscribe to my YouTube channel. I lost my Dad in February 2018. He was 94 years old, he developed dementia in the last year of his life after my mum passed away in 2017, so I’m doing this in loving memory of both parents! I am a gay autistic 38-year-old man. I have my own website called Alanslgbtautismsite. It’s a website about being both autistic and gay; it’s a useful website with information to help and educate people about raising awareness of autism and being a part of the LGBT community. You can find my site at:

I have braved the shave for cancer in loving memory of my mum who battled cancer and beat it but sadly passed away in September 2017 and my dad passed away in February 2018. Here are my fundraising pages if you wish to support my fundraising campaign to raise awareness of both dementia and cancer and with more research, they may be able to find a cure for people suffering from these conditions in the future:

I think we need to continue to strive for better equality and fairness of opportunity for those who identify as LGBT+ and those on the autistic spectrum, and to tackle abuse and discrimination where they occur this is one of many campaigns I support.
