Friends of Milton Mausoleum

What an amazing evening at the Friends of Milton Mausoleum’s Summer Celebrations Concert on 21st June. Oliver Harris entertained with music from many genres at this sell out event on a beautiful evening. A welcome glass of fizz greeted guests, with canapés and wine on the lawn at the interval and a generous raffle as well as time to socialise. Thank you to everyone for their support and to those who helped to make the evening a success.

Sunday openings

Don’t miss Milton Mausoleum’s Sunday openings, from 2.00pm to 4.00pm, continue until the end of September. Group visits at other times can be arranged with prior arrangement. The magnificent statue of the Duchess Georgiana is worth seeing.

Heritage Weekend at The Mausoleum and West Markham Church

A unique opportunity to view historical facts and learn more about our community. Go along and see the interesting information on show, including artefacts, documents, photographs, maps, and memorabilia including farm sales brochures from around this parish. Share in the history of the parish of Markham Clinton – the villages of Milton, West Markham and Bevercotes. The history of the Dukes of Newcastle features in the community even now. Who lived in your house before you? Family connections in this parish? Do you have items of interest that you would like to share, or would you like a free table to display your own collection? Please contact the Friends if you would like to know more. Entry to the event will be free and refreshments and toilet facilities will be available.
