The season is beginning for the Friends of Milton Mausoleum and they can announce the following:
- Sunday 30th April: Friends Lunch at the West Retford Hotel, North Road, Retford DN22 7XG. A two course meal (menu available on request) and a speaker and raffle. £20.00 per person.
- Saturday 22nd April and Saturday 29th April (a choice of two dates): A History Walk and Talk: Milton and West Markham by Pilgrims and Prophets. Leading local historian and author Adrian Gray leads a walk full of interesting facts and landmarks. Meet at Milton Mausoleum at 10.00am, until 12.30pm. £8.50 per head includes contributions to Churches Conservation Trust and West Markham Church. Walking distance about two to three miles. - Saturday 13th May: Something special in the planning stage – watch this space!
- Sunday 14th May: The first of Milton Mausoleum’s Sunday openings from 2.00pm to 4.00pm with volunteer guides.
