Flurry for the Ollerton Foodbank

More than 362kgs of groceries have been donated to the foodbank in Ollerton by AW Safety Management Ltd, Robert Woodhead Homes Newark and Sherwood Social Housing Project Team and our local King Edwin Primary School.
AW Safety Management Ltd, a local health and safety consultancy and training provider in Edwinstowe, organised a charity event on 28th March called ‘Foodbank Flurry’ as part of its ‘giving back’ initiative and to support the ever-growing need of families in our community who use and rely on the local foodbank to continually support their increasing needs.

The tremendous result was achieved with the combined and very generous efforts in support of our local community and Lynn Matthews, the foodbank manager, also commented that this was the single biggest donation since the operation in Ollerton opened five years ago. She said the charity was thrilled and extremely thankful for the generous donation.
