Join in the fun this summer, from 28th July to 19th August, as the residents and businesses of Edwinstowe display their scarecrows throughout their wonderful village. The festival, organised by Royal Oak Allotment Association and Outside the Cave, will give families the opportunity to follow the Scarecrow Trail around the village and find out more about what Edwinstowe has to offer.
The festival runs for three weeks, including National Allotment Week (13 to 19th August) at the end of which the panel of judges will announce the winner of the Best Scarecrow competition. Trail maps will be available at various locations throughout the village and at the Craft Centre, so why not incorporate this activity into your planned day out in Edwinstowe this summer?
For more information about the event call 01623 822428 or call in at Outside the Cave, Sherwood House, Ollerton Road, opposite the Royal Oak. And the best thing is it’s completely free to join in the fun!
