Edwinstowe Handbell Ringers are very active in the local community, playing at village events, charity fundraisers, concerts, recitals and other celebrations.
Since their busy Christmas concert schedule, Edwinstowe Handbell Ringers (EHB) have been working hard rehearsing lots of new musical pieces for forthcoming concerts and appearances during 2026. In support of the St George’s Day celebrations at Old Ollerton in April, they played a stirring set of tunes in St Paulinus Church, to fabulous acoustics. The event was great fun and complemented very well the other heritage merriments happening in this well-attended Ollerton community event.
They also played at the Kneesall Music Marathon in May, where their repertoire varied from gentle ballads to rousing national anthems, and toe tappers – all special sounds in different ways. Their music set was followed by a ‘have-a-go’ session, welcoming the public to try out this extraordinary team instrument.
