Edwinstowe Community Cricket Club recently held the official opening of their new net facility. This was made possible by local funding and the planning approval of several different authorities and land owners.
Without everyone coming together this project could not have happened and so the Club is grateful to all those involved – Newark and Sherwood District Council, Thoresby Estates, RSPB, Nottinghamshire County Council, Harworth Estates and many members of the Club and community.
The opening was carried out by Paul Peacock, Leader of Newark and Sherwood District Council.
