Dukeries Community Workshop opens in September

The volunteers at Dukeries Community Workshop are pleased to announce that they hope to reopen the workshop in September, but things will be a little different.
They will be running the same sessions Monday to Friday, but you will need to book a spot beforehand as numbers will be limited. To let more people attend the workshop you may only be able to attend either a morning or an afternoon session.

Their weekly sessions are:

  • Mondays, 9.30am to 12.30pm: wood carving with Peter and Bill
  • Tuesdays, 9.30am to 3.00pm: drop in session for your project and more
  • Tuesday evenings, 7.00pm to 9.00pm: wood carving and pyrography with Roy
  • Wednesdays, 9.30am to 12.30pm: closed for school session
  • Wednesdays, 1.00pm to 3.00pm: stained glass with Elaine
  • Thursdays, 9.30am to 12.30pm: drop in session for your project and more
  • Thursdays, 1.00pm to 3.00pm: short courses with MIND group
  • Fridays, 9.30am to 12.30pm: walking stick making / carving with Roy and Bill
  • Fridays, 1.00pm to 3.00pm: Kiln fused glasswork with Ann

They will have a limited supply of facemasks and disposable gloves available as well as antibacterial hand sanitiser for you to use. They hope you look forward to attending the workshop as much as they look forward to welcoming you back and thank you for your patience.
