Citizens Advice Sherwood and Newark: here to support our communities

by | 15 January 2023 | Citizens Advice, Sherwood

As we pack away the decorations and life returns to normal after the festivities of Christmas and New Year, those problems we had managed to forget about for a while start to worry us again. This could be problems you have been having with your landlord or your employer, or issues with your benefits. Or you may have new worries – you could be concerned about how much you spent over Christmas and about paying for bills or how to return a gift that is faulty.

At Citizens Advice Sherwood and Newark, they can help. Their trained advisers give information and advice that empowers people to find a way forward and make ends meet. They’re there to listen and ensure people are not alone.

They give advice on a range of subjects including housing, family and relationships, consumer issues and communications. They also have specialist advisers who support clients facing debts, welfare benefit issues, energy and looking at ways to try and maximise your income.
