In May 2023 artists and makers from across Nottinghamshire invite you to visit their studios and events. There is free entry to most events – a few make a small charge to help cover costs or for charity. Events local to us are:

Wheelchair access to ground floor shop and café only. Artists will be available to demonstrate on ground floor and speak to people unable to manage the stairs to studios.

Cath Ray Gallery and Studios
Saturday 13th and Sunday 28th May, 10.00am to 4.00pm
All seven artists who work at the gallery will open their studio doors. Botanical artis, Alison Beevers will be printing on tin and displaying her fabrics, eco-dyed and printed with flowers grown by Alison herself. Also meet Tracey Page, mixed media artist, textile artist Bev Ramsbotham, painters Andy Hill and Cath Ray and graphic designer and stone-carver Bryn Walls. Artist William Boulby will have his automatic drawing machine (worthy of William Heath Robinson) out and examples of what it can do. Visitors will also be able to meet and chat to Retford artist Jane Aukland, whose work is on display in the main gallery.
