You may be aware Home-Start Newark are proudly celebrating 40 years of supporting young families across Newark and surrounding areas this year.
As part of the celebrations they would like to invite anyone who has had support, volunteered or worked for them during the last four decades to a Birthday Picnic taking place in early July.
“It would be lovely to see as many people as possible get together who have either benefitted from our services or who have helped to make us what we are, to recognise this wonderful achievement,” explained Sara Grant, scheme manager. “Over the last 40 years the lives and needs of young families have changed in many ways, but one thing that has remained a constant is that knowing someone is there to listen to you and support you through difficult times, can make a big difference.”
Home-Start Newark have been privileged to work with the local community supporting families with young children and hope to continue for many years to come.
