Bags of Help is an exciting local grant scheme run by Tesco New Ollerton, where money raised from the government 10p carrier bag charge is being used to fund local projects in the Newark and Sherwood District. Any local non-profitable charity or organisation can apply to the scheme. Tesco has teamed up with Groundwork to oversee the projects. From the applications, three different groups are shortlisted.
