Rotherham Metro Ramblers

Rotherham Metro Ramblers are a friendly and welcoming walking group, who have group walks on Wednesdays and Saturdays. They cater for walkers of various levels with short (five to seven miles) leisurely walks, and longer moderate walks of eight to 12 miles, in the local Rotherham area, and also in surrounding areas of South and West Yorkshire, as well as the Peak District and North Nottinghamshire.

Walk programme for September
Wednesday 1st September: South West Sheffield, eight miles.
Saturday 4th September: Five Edges (including Froggatt and Curbar Edge) and two monuments, 10.5 miles
Wednesday 15th September: Clowne, Elmton, 5.5 miles leisurely
Saturday 18th September: Church Warsop, 10 miles
Saturday 25th September: two walks to Harthill, Thorpe Salvin (10 miles), and Kiveton Park (five miles)
Wednesday 29th September: Parkgate, Wentworth, Elsecar, 11 miles.
