Dalton Parish Council is hosting the annual Dalton Gala on Saturday 4th June at 11.00am to 4.00pm at Sunnyside top field (with free transport provided via vintage bus picking up from Magna Lane hourly from 10.30am, except 1.30pm).
There will be many free activities for children, a live band, Dinnington Brass Band, children’s rides and inflatables, a climbing wall, a magician, balloon models, face painting, a bar, various food and drink including hog roast, a craft market and a Hurricane flypast. A lot of excitement to cram in to one event!
Dalton Parish Council also hosts a free community coffee morning one Thursday each month from 10.00am to 12.00pm at Dalton Parish Hall, Doncaster Road, S65 3ET. There is free tea and coffee and various activities to enjoy; all are welcome. The dates are:

- 21st July
- 15th September
- 20th October
- 17th November
The Parish Council is offering seated exercise classes on Wednesdays at Sunnyside Community Centre, from 10.00am to 11.30am. They are also hosting a range of children’s activities, via Active Regen, throughout the school holidays:
- 30th May to 3rd June: Dalton Parish Hall
- 1st to 5th August: Dalton Parish Hall
- 10th to 12th August: Sunnyside Community Centre
- 24th to 25th October: Dalton Parish Hall
- 26th to 28th October: Sunnyside Community Centre
