Ordsall Parish Hall hosts a regular programme of professional performances, many of them promoted through Live & Local and supported by Arts Council England, local councils and volunteers.
The forthcoming programme includes:
- Sunday 27th September – Counter’s Creek, a contemporary acoustic folk band.
- Saturday 21st November – Behind Enemy Lines, a one-woman storytelling drama about the lives of women chosen for secret work during the Second World War.
- Saturday 5th December, 6.00pm – De Mowbray’s Musicke presents Christmas Through the Ages at All Hallows Church. The group performs on a wide range of medieval instruments and previously appeared in Ordsall in March 2026 with its presentation of The Luttrell Psalter.
- Saturday 6th February – Jonny and Lynnette return for their 10th visit with an evening of traditional country and western music.
- Friday 12th March – Bezique presents Manouche and More, featuring a varied programme of nu-gypsy acoustic jazz and café music from around the world.
The programme offers something for a wide range of musical and theatrical tastes. More information about the September performance will appear in the next issue.
