Bassetlaw Environmental Network

You are invited to a local screening of the National Emergency Briefing, an environmental film featuring leading UK scientists explaining the changes we are seeing in our climate and local environment. While the title sounds dramatic, the aim is to make the events positive and practical — helping local people understand the challenges ahead and, importantly, what they can do to adapt, reduce household costs and support nature locally. The screenings are being organised by the Bassetlaw Environmental Network, a new community group helping people take practical action on climate and nature. They’re looking at ways to support local residents with things like home energy efficiency, solar, EVs, local nature projects and other ways to build resilience.
They have two free screenings:

More than 40 people have already registered, and they’re hoping to bring together a wide range of local residents, community groups and businesses to share ideas and create positive action.
