Remembrance Day (Sunday 9th November) in Mansfield Woodhouse will begin with a parade starting at Yeoman Hill Park at 10.20am, before returning to the Park to observe a two-minute silence followed by a short service and wreath-laying ceremony to honour the fallen.
Community members will be invited back to St Edmund’s Church, where a full service will be held. Mansfield Woodhouse Community Development Group (MWCDG) work closely with partner organisations including St Edmund’s Parish Church, Mansfield District Corps of Drums, The 4th Mansfield Woodhouse Scouts, The WI and The Old Mansfield Woodhouse Society to plan and organise the Remembrance Day Service and Parade each November.
