Upcoming activities
Weekly Lego Club
The club takes place every Saturday from 10.00am to 12.30pm at the library. Lego is provided, and the event is free to attend with no booking necessary.
Term-time only Baby ‘Rattle Rhyme and Roll’
This session is held on Mondays from 10.00am to 10.30am for children under one, and Fridays from 10.00am to 10.30am for under-fives. The sessions include singing a mix of old favourites and new songs, with opportunities to join in with actions and singing.
Weekly Board Games
Held every Tuesday from 3.30pm to 5.00pm, with no booking required. The library offers a wide variety of board games to choose from (term-time only).
Craft and Chat Group
This group meets every Thursday from 10.00am to 12.00pm. It is a friendly and welcoming group, often working on charity projects, as well as their own crafts. Attendees are not required to bring a craft, though they are welcome to do so. The focus is on enjoying the company and conversation.
Places of Welcome
Every Friday from 10.00am to 12.00pm, the library hosts a free session where visitors can enjoy a drink and a chat with like-minded individuals.
Tea and Tech
This free service, offered every Friday afternoon from 1.30pm to 3.00pm, helps individuals with digital devices while enjoying a complimentary cup of tea.
Annual Macmillan Coffee Morning
The coffee morning is scheduled for Thursday 25th September from 10.00am to 12.00pm. All are welcome to come and support this great charity.
Harry Potter Craft Activities
On Tuesday 21st October from 10.00am to 2.00pm and Thursday 23rd October from 10.00am to 2.00pm, the library will host craft activities inspired by Harry Potter.
Spoon Dragon Craft
On Thursday 30th October from 10.00am to 2.00pm, attendees can participate in making a spoon dragon.
