Citizens Advice North Nottinghamshire provides free, confidential and impartial advice to Mansfield residents from the Civic Centre.
As well as providing a general advice service, the local charity can refer clients to their more specialist teams for further help with issues such as debt, energy, welfare benefits, housing and the rising cost of living. They’re able to undertake quick benefit checks to see whether there are any benefits you may be entitled to, as well as helping you to complete forms, draft letters and contact third parties.
In the past year, Citizens Advice North Nottinghamshire, which also covers Retford, Worksop and the surrounding rural areas, has supported almost 8,000 clients with over 29,000 issues.
If you would like help and support, they are open in Mansfield on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9.30am to 2.30pm at The Civic Centre, Chesterfield Road South, Mansfield NG19 7BH.
Additionally, they provide outreach services at Warsop Town Hall on Wednesdays from 9.00am to 1.00pm, St Peter’s Church, Mansfield on Wednesdays from 10.00am to 12.30pm, and The Stables, Mansfield Woodhouse on Mondays and Thursdays from 1.30pm to 3.45pm
