There’s a lot going on at Clumber Park over the next two months, including:

Remembrance at Clumber Park

At 10.55am on Sunday 9th November, wreaths will be laid at the Calvary War Memorial in Hardwick village to remember the fallen. The Last Post, Reveille, and National Anthem will be played by members of Thoresby Brass Band. This will be followed by a service in the Chapel of St Mary the Virgin in Clumber Park at 11.30am. The Remembrance Poppies display, made up of over 6,000 knitted and crocheted poppies, can be viewed in the Chapel from 1st to 23rd November.

The Elf on the Shelf ® comes to Clumber

The treasured family Christmas tradition has been turned into a magical sculpture trail for the very first time. From Saturday 22nd November to Sunday 4th January, discover 12 giant The Elf on the Shelf ® sculptures, sent straight from the North Pole to bring festive fun to visitors. Creating heart-warming memories and inspiring excitement, this year’s trail will have the whole family wondering where each delightful Scout elf is hiding. Free event, no booking required, admission into the park applies.

Meet Father Christmas There’ll be magic and Yuletide cheer in the Old Parsonage as Father Christmas arrives at Clumber Park from Saturday 22nd November. Includes BSL interpreted sessions available on 29th and 30th November. Booking essential.

Storytime with Father Christmas for Toddlers

Wednesday 10th, Thursday 11th, Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th December
Little ones will be captivated by this enchanting encounter with Father Christmas as they listen to him tell some of his favourite yuletide stories, nursery rhymes and songs. Booking is essential.

Wreath making

26th, 27th, 30th November and 1st and 2nd December, 10.00am to 12.00pm and 1.00pm to 3.00pm
Make your own wreath using materials from the park and includes cake and a hot drink. Workshops cost £55.00 per person. Booking essential.

Festive table decoration workshop

21st December, 10.00am to 12.00pm and 1.00pm to 3.00pm
This special workshop costs £55.00 per person and includes cake and a hot drink. Booking essential.
Festive Dog Walk Clumber Park’s annual doggie Christmas jumper walk will take place on Wednesday 17th December at 10.00am. Enjoy a cuppa and a free mince pie in Central Bark afterwards. Free event, no booking required.

Santa Paws

Saturday 20th, Sunday 21st and Monday 22nd December, 10.00am to 12.00pm and 12.30pm to 2.00pm
Treat your four-legged friends to a visit from Santa Paws. Includes a special treat. No booking required.

Jayne Darling in the Chapel

Enjoy a festive, vintage playlist from the incredibly popular 1940’s artist, Jayne Darling, on Sunday 7th December, 12.00pm to 3.00pm. Free event, no booking required.

Carol Service

Nine Lessons and Carols, Clumber’s traditional carol service, will take place on Sunday 21st December from 2.00pm. Free event, no booking required. Arriving early is recommended.
