Tuxford Town Council has expressed thanks to the organisations and individuals who have supported improvements to the Clark Lane Play Area in Tuxford.
The council recognised the generous contributions made by Retford Lions and Retford Rotary Club towards the enhancement of the play area. Retford Lions, represented by President Robert Crampton, donated £500 towards the cost of four additional pieces of play equipment. Retford Rotary Club, represented by President Mary Saddington, pledged £1,990 towards the installation of the net timber bridge.
Further support came from Richard Walker of Walkers, Tuxford, who donated £3,000. Additional funding was provided through the Town Centre Streetscaping Fund by Bassetlaw District Council.
The improvements form part of a wider project costing £28,222. Tuxford Town Council thanked all supporters for helping to create a safe, fun and inclusive play area for children and families to enjoy.
