The Inner Wheel Club of Warsop, also known locally as the Tea Tent Ladies, is looking for a small storage space for its catering and event equipment.
This equipment is regularly used at community and charity events. However, following the sad passing of one of the club’s members, a new place is now needed to store it.

What is Inner Wheel?
Inner Wheel is first and foremost a friendship organisation. It is a group for women, run by women, with the aim of building friendship while also supporting charities at local, national and international level. Fundraising is carried out in a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere where community spirit is always at the heart of what members do.
For many years the club has been best known locally for running the tea tent at the Warsop Carnival. This event has traditionally been the first fundraising activity of the club president’s year and has been a familiar feature of the carnival for a very long time.
Although the carnival will not take place this year, members are already looking forward to wearing their aprons again next year and serving the community.
What else does the club do?
The club meets on the first Wednesday of each month at the Hostess Restaurant, where members enjoy a meal together and spend time catching up with friends. Meetings often include guest speakers or activities.
Recent speakers have included a forensic scientist, a conservationist speaking about wildlife in gardens, and even a retired armed services dog accompanied by its trainer. Meetings have also featured quizzes, beetle drives, creative writing sessions, drawing lessons and even a face yoga class. Members also take part in a range of activities outside the regular meetings. In recent months these have included a walk around the Carrs, helping turn the church orange to highlight domestic and violent abuse against women, a craft day, a flower arranging workshop, decorating a tree for the church Christmas tree festival, a fish and chip lunch and a soup and cheese community event.
The club also supports charities by collecting items for babies and women in need, preparing baby bundles and ‘joy bags’ for those who need extra support.
Members can take part in as many or as few activities as they wish. The club includes women of all ages, with the oldest member currently aged 101.
