The hugely successful Fun Palace returns to Worksop Library on Saturday 4th October from 10.00am to 3.00pm. This free event invites people of all ages to go along and try out a variety of art, science, music and cultural activities – all for free!
Have fun making and creating with the Harley Gallery, BCVS and From the Heart Charity. Enjoy nature-themed crafts from Worksop’s Oasis Centre, Mr Straw’s House and Clumber Park National Trust. Try out Ignite’s amazing science tricks and drop in to see the UK Atomic Energy Authority’s incredible robot dog. Have a go on ABL Health’s smoothie bike. Grab a headset and be amazed by seven thrilling virtual reality experiences – including Wallace & Gromit in The Grand Getaway. Experience sensory play with Now Church, and enjoy Little Creatives fun for under-fives.
- Join in with musical performances from the magnificent Red Hot Band.
- Plus, there will be recycling games with Veolia, vintage toys from Aurora, badge making, giant games and much more.
