Members of the Bassetlaw Branch of Parkinson’s UK have enjoyed a busy few months, with a seaside outing, lunch clubs and regular weekly activities – and there is still much to look forward to in the run-up to Christmas.
The next branch meeting will take place on Tuesday 7th October at 2.00pm at Worksop Cricket Club. The guest speaker will be Paul Whittaker, entertaining with music, songs and laughter. This promises to be a fun afternoon, and new members are always warmly welcomed – six new members joined last month.
The next lunch club gathering is on Tuesday 18th November at The Lockkeeper, Worksop. The next outing will be a coach trip to Brigg Garden Centre on Tuesday 11th November.
Popular weekly activities continue to run, including Singing for Wellbeing, Pilates, indoor bowling and walking football. At the meeting on Tuesday 4th November, members will be entertained by ventriloquist Andy Greaves and his friend Lewis Ducky.
