Fun Palaces are all about celebrating creativity, community and culture — and everyone’s invited to get involved. It’s a nationwide movement that believes in the power of everyday people to make extraordinary things happen through art, science, storytelling, craft, performance, and more.
On the day, the museum will be transformed into a space full of drop-in activities, workshops, performances and hands-on fun — all led by local people, artists, and groups from our community. Whether you’re painting a tiny canvas, exploring the stars, joining a storytelling session, making something from recycled materials, or simply soaking up the atmosphere — there’ll be something for all ages and interests.
