- Saturday: 9.00am to 12.30pm
At Ollerton Library, visitors can:

Regular events at Ollerton Library
Adult events
- Crime Reading Group meets monthly to discuss the chosen book and enjoy a friendly chat. Upcoming meetings: Monday 6th May and Monday 3rd June.
- Craft & Chat meets every Wednesday from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. A relaxed group for anyone with a craft project or looking to start one.
- Ollerton Writers Group meets every other Saturday for writing improvement and feedback. All genres, styles, and ages are welcome. Upcoming dates are Saturdays 3rd, 17th and 31st May.
- Job Club meets every other Wednesday at 2.30pm, offering help with CV writing and online job searches. Join them on 7th and 21st May.
Children’s events
- Rhyme, Rattle and Roll is every Friday at 2.00pm (term time only), with songs and rhymes to aid vocabulary and coordination.
- Lego Club takes place every Monday from 4.00pm to 5.00pm and every Saturday from 10.00am to 12.00pm.
- Code Club runs on Saturdays from 10.00am to 11.00am for children aged nine to 13. Learn coding with Scratch and Python. To join, email sfepartnership@gmail.com.
Half Term Event – The Big Bricks!
Running from Saturday 20th April to Monday 2nd June, show off your Lego skills by building something massive!

InspiREAD Awards 2025
Started during lockdown, InspiREAD is now an annual summer-term event celebrating children’s books.
Come and vote for your favourite in three categories: Picture Books, Shorter Books, and Longer Novels. The shortlist is chosen by librarians, but the final decision is up to the readers.
Funded by Arts Council England, Nottinghamshire County Council and Arc Partnership.
Dukeries Library
Located within The Dukeries Academy—use the Whinney Lane entrance and press the buzzer at the front gate. Reception staff will grant access.
The library offers a wide range of fiction, non-fiction, spoken word, and large print books.
Computers are free to use for browsing the internet, accessing online resources, using the catalogue, or working with Microsoft Office.

- Monday to Thursday: 8.30am to 12.30pm, 1.00pm to 4.00pm
- Friday: 8.30am to 12.30pm, 1.00pm to 3.45pm
