Retford Textiles Group was delighted to have 11 new members join the practical session last month. This lively group meets once a month in the Goodwin Hall Retford, although members come from across North Nottinghamshire.
February saw a lively practical session related to ribbon-work, and on Wednesday 2nd March the group will be continuing this theme with ribbon-weaving and accompanying embellishment.
Discussions are already underway for various trips out during the warmer spring and summer months. Planning is already in place to visit the Living Threads Contemporary Textiles exhibition, with hopefully a little bit of fine dining, in April.
