After a difficult end to the year, the Friends of Sherwood Heath start off the new year with a bang. Details of their new program are as follows (all arrangements weather-dependent; please check before departure):
Friday 18th February, 9.00am to 12.00pm: Volunteer tasks with Katie
Friday 25th March, 10.00am: Great British Spring Clean on the Heath
Week commencing 28th March: Bat walk with Katie
Friday 15th April, 10.00pm: Butterfly and moth walk with Mel
Saturday 14th May: Dawn chorus with Charlene and Mark
Week commencing 23rd May: Bat walk with Katie
Friday 17th June, 10.00am to 12.00pm: Balsam and bracken bashing

Also, Katie is offering volunteering sessions on the Heath from 9.00am to 12.00pm on Friday 4th February, 18th February and Friday 4th March.
Lastly, to fill your cup to overflowing Friends’ Chairman Bob will produce articles for Sherwood Life magazine from time-to-time on matters of environmental interest in the Ollerton area.
