The world-famous Black Dyke Band is regarded by many to be the most famous and successful brass band in history. Formed in 1855 in the Yorkshire town of Queensbury, the band has won no less than 23 National, 30 British Open and 13 European Championship titles.
The Band will be coming to Worksop to perform a concert in the beautiful Worksop Priory on Saturday 29th April 2023 starting at 7.00pm; a week before they will travel to Malmo in Sweden to represent England at the 2023 European Brass Band Championships.
The Band maintains a very busy concert schedule which has seen them perform on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury, The Royal Albert Hall in London and at Birmingham’s Iconic Symphony Hall in the past year alone. Their upcoming concert at the Priory will however be the first time that the band has performed in Worksop, making the concert even more special.
Under the leadership of their Musical Director Nicholas Childs, the band will deliver an exciting and varied programme of music that will showcase the incredible talents of the band and its world class soloists.
Tickets are priced at £13.00 for adults and £10.00 for concessions and are available through www.ticketsource.co.uk/black-dyke-band.
