Worksop u3a’s new gardening group is now up and running. Their latest speaker entertained them with fascinating images and facts about bees, confirming their importance to our food production. Did you know there are around 270 species of bee in Britain?
The gardening club meets once a month, and you can find more details of the group on the u3a website (details below).
Members are now getting ready for the Christmas Party at North Notts Arena when their own swing band ‘Simply Swing’ will entertain all with Christmas songs, carols and dance music.
All u3a groups are great places to meet people, have a chat and possibly learn some new skills.
