Worksop Society of Artists will be hosting a demonstration at Worksop Cricket Club on Monday 17th March from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. The artist for the demonstration will be Kris Egglestone, and the subject will be Variations. Admission is £4.00 for non-members on the door, and refreshments will be available during the interval.
The Society meets at the Cricket Club every Monday from 10.00am to 3.00pm and offers a varied programme of events throughout the year, including demonstrations and workshops by professional artists in a range of mediums and styles. There are also in-house workshops run by society members and monthly life-drawing sessions.
Annual membership is £10.00, with a £2.00 fee per session attended. Anyone interested in joining is welcome to visit at any time during a session to look around and chat with members. Newcomers will be warmly welcomed, and the first session is free with no obligation to join.
