Worksop Society of Artists is hosting its annual Summer Exhibition and sale of work at Sparken Hill Academy, Sparken Hill, Worksop S80 1AW.
Preview night is Friday 2nd August from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. All are welcome to attend the evening. The exhibition is open daily from Saturday 3rd August to Sunday 11th August, 10.00am to 4.00pm. Admission is free with easy access and plenty of parking.
2024 is the 80th anniversary of the Worksop Society of Artists. A founder member of the Society was Druie Bowett, who exhibited at the Hepworth Gallery.
Other past members included Sydney Wright, Geoff Kersey, Gordon Chell, Norman Evans and Graham Duckmanton.
A commemorative table will be set up at the exhibition displaying artefacts from the Society to mark the occasion.
