Worksop Society of Artists is hosting a demonstration in oils at the Cricket Club, Worksop on Monday 18th July, from 2.00pm to 4.00pm.
The artist for the demonstration will be Colin Joyce, and his subject will be ‘Harbour Scene’ in oils. Anyone can attend with a fee of £4.00 on the door for non-members. Refreshments will be available at the interval.
Visitors are most welcome, so feel free to go along, have a look round and chat to members.
Later in the month, the Society will be holding its Summer Exhibition and sale of work at Sparken Hill Academy, Sparken Hill, Worksop S80 1AW. Preview night is Friday 29th July at 7.00pm to 9.00pm. The Exhibition then runs from Saturday 30th July to Sunday 7th August and is open 10.00am to 4.00pm every day. Admission is free with easy access and plenty of parking.
