Worksop and District u3a’s July meeting saw the welcome return of local author Stephen Booth. Stephen has visited before to talk about his crime books set in the Peak District (soon to be televised by Channel 5), but this time he focused on the psychology of murder and how to commit the perfect crime. Several audience members were seen paying very close attention and taking copious notes!
The September meeting offers a taste of the Caribbean, with entertainment from the u3a’s very own steel band. Steelpantastic is the only u3a steel band in the country, and their unique interpretation of popular tunes is guaranteed to set feet tapping.
