WIN Jack & The Beanstalk Pantomime tickets!

Will there be a Worksop Christmas panto this festive season? Oh, yes, there will! And here is your chance to win tickets to see the show.
With many theatres closed and pantomimes cancelled this Christmas, The Acorn Theatre will still be bringing the festive fun to the heart of Worksop as Cheeky Chops Theatre Company present their giant of a pantomime, Jack and The Beanstalk! The new restrictions have led to a postponement of the original dates but watch this space for new dates soon.
We’ve teamed up with the organisers to give away a ‘Family Bubble Ticket’ (for four members of the same household) to the show! To be in with a chance of winning email your details to competitions@worksoplife.com.
In this well-loved panto favourite, Jack and Dotty Trott don’t have a bean to their name, and now a giant’s terrifying the village! Can Jack rescue Jill, defeat the evil Fleshcreep and find his fortune before the giant gobbles him up for supper?
The Cheeky Chops gang have the answer, as they return to the Queen Street venue following their sell-out panto ‘Aladdin’ earlier this year. Cheeky Chops Theatre produces and performs fun-packed shows for children of all ages in theatres and schools, with script and music specially written by internationally acclaimed best-selling writer, Craig Hawes.
“We’ve all missed the magic, excitement and wonder of live theatre this year, but we’re delighted to be back on stage at The Acorn with a truly magical show for children of all ages!”, says director Hayla Hawes. “It’s a fast-paced hilarious show with songs, puppets, special effects and crazy characters!
“We have some brilliant twists to the traditional story, with non-stop music and laughter, a ballroom-dancing cow, a talking chicken and one spectacularly enormous beanstalk!”
The Acorn are also ensuring everyone can have piles of panto fun while staying safe. With smaller audiences and various show times available, bookings are made in socially-distanced family bubbles, and audience members are asked to wear a mask and a smile! And of course, the small cast pack all the pantomime fun into a 75-minute show with no interval!
Advance booking is essential, so don’t miss your dose of panto this year – book now for the giant show that will leave the whole family feeling full of ‘beans’!

Jack and The Beanstalk runs at The Acorn Theatre, Queen Street, Worksop on dates to be confirmed, available online at www.acorntheatre.net. Various dates and show times will be available, all detailed on the website! Advance booking is essential.
