‘Rapunzel’ tells the traditional tale of the girl with long, golden hair, locked in a tower by the wicked Gothel, who collects her tears each day. Rapunzel knows nothing of the outside world, until the Prince Frederick and his valet Frankie stumble across her tower hidden deep in the forest. As the story unfolds, we discover if the Prince and Frankie can rescue Rapunzel, or will their efforts be thwarted by Gothel and her dimwitted aides, Curly and Bob? ‘Rapunzel, the pantomime’ offers a wealth of singing, dancing, jokes for children and adults, and general good fun. With its traditional, seasonal finale, it is a wonderful way to begin the festive season.
