What have you done in lockdown?

Members of Carlton Bowls Club, along with their friends, have knitted over 100 jumpers and hats to send out to South Africa. The Rotary Club of Retford operates a charity called the Bread Fund which raises money to feed preschool children. It also sends the knitted items to the children so they can stay warm during the winter months in the Drakensberg Mountains. The knitwear is taken to Cape Town by Devereux Transport free of charge, from where it is collected and taken by road to the preschools. A big thank you goes to all involved.
