The Old Vicarage

Much loved country garden which has opened for the National Garden Scheme for many years, with views of Nottinghamshire open countryside to the rear. This garden has matured over a 25 year period, but this year features new planting / design at the bottom of the garden. A gem to visit. Syerston Village Gardens

This rural village has four very contrasting gardens for you to enjoy. Long Acres is a large traditional cottage garden with an atmospheric walled garden, themed herbaceous borders and a boxed parterre with a dahlia bed and cutting patch. Croft House sits in a wonderful setting with a newly formed large pond, lovely topiary and structure through the borders and a productive vegetable garden. Moor House is an extremely colourful cottage garden with lots of pots, a water feature with rockery, herbaceous borders to the front and rear and a compact vegetable garden. 7 Greengate backs on to woods and offers an interesting variety of plants, many unusual, to suit its setting with a mix of flowers and foliage that create colour throughout the year. Village 13th century church with floral displays open to visitors. Home made tea and cakes in the village hall. Plants for sale, cashless payment available.

One acre garden with hosta walk and jungle with bananas, tree ferns, cannas. Winding path takes you to a parterre with topiary and sequoiadendron giganeum pendula trees and water features.
