Are the lighter nights and the spring weather putting a spring in your step? Would you like an opportunity to hit the dance floor and support a good cause at the same time?
Well, here’s your chance! The Worksop Support Group for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice is holding a Tea Dance on Friday 27th May. It will take place at Manton Sports and Social Club on Retford Road, Worksop, from 1.00pm to 4.00pm. There will be music for a variety of ballroom and sequence dancing throughout the afternoon.
Tickets are £5.00 per person, and this includes unlimited tea and coffee, plus cakes to enjoy. The bar will be open for the odd glass of something stronger. There will also be the opportunity to buy raffle tickets for a variety of prizes. Tickets can be obtained by calling Christine Bullivant on 01909 478533.
Bluebell Wood supports children with life-threatening and life-shortening conditions, and their families, from North Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and North Lincolnshire. Every pound raised by events such as the Tea Dance goes towards providing the very best care possible at the hospice and in the community. Your support will be greatly appreciated, and you can enjoy ‘strutting your stuff’ at the same time!
