The Parish Room is busier than ever, with classes including Yoga, Chair Yoga, Baby Bunnies, the Italian Group, the Francophiles, Tabernacle Church Fellowship, WI and Dadesley Crafting. ACCORD, a small self-help support group for people suffering from anxiety-related disorders, also meets at the Parish Room. For more information, contact Eluned on 01302 742963.
A Parish Room Quiz Night will take place on Friday 14th November, with all proceeds going towards essential repairs to the venue. Tickets are £8.00, including pie and peas and entry to the quiz. To book, call Lesley on 07748 326673.
The Late Night Shopping event and Christmas lights switch-on will be held on Thursday 27th November. The Parish Room will be open from 5.30pm to 8.00pm for hot drinks and mince pies, along with a range of stalls selling gifts, crafts, jewellery, cards and calendars. Tables are available outside, and a couple remain available inside for £15.00 each.
John Marsden’s famous Soup Lunches will continue on Friday 7th and Friday 21st November.
Looking ahead, Burns Night Suppers will take place on Saturday 17th and Saturday 30th January. Tickets are £25.00 each, including a three-course meal and a real piper, with all proceeds going towards essential repairs to the Parish Room.
