The Musicality Singers

Something different this time round. Some verses where two lines weave their separate ways through a poem until meeting together in the end – just as (hopefully) The Musicality Singers will do in September.

Notes for a Locked Down Choir
When we get back together to sing
After being apart for so long
It’ll be great when our voices take wing.

Will we be overwhelmed, that’s the thing,
As we gather where we belong
When we get back together to sing?

We’ll want it to go with a swing,
So it won’t go so terribly wrong.
It’ll be great when our voices take wing.

The air all about us will ring
As our voices are blended in song
When we get back together to sing.

So much hope and longing we’ll bring,
Clear tones will dance from each tongue.
It’ll be great when our voices take wing

From each note so much joy we will wring
Our songs will resound true and strong.
It’ll be great when our voices take wing,
When we get back together to sing.
