The Musicality Singers

The Musicality Singers are delighted to announce that their Summer Concert will be on Friday 28th June at The Crossing in Worksop.

Recently one member was asked why they enjoyed being part of the Musicality Singers.

“Who knew it could feel so good singing as part of a choir? Not me! It’s something I’d thought about many times and I’m so glad I finally took the plunge. I must be enjoying it as it’s now over ten years since I made that decision to go along and try out the choir.

“I certainly didn’t want to audition for a choir so the Musicality Singers were perfect for me to join. It doesn’t actually matter what pitch you sing at; there will be a place for you in the choir.

“The enjoyment is due in no small part, of course, to the wonderful Musical Director, Jenny Demicheli, and amazing Assistant Musical Director Amy Wight, who make the learning journey so enjoyable. They always warm us up ready to sing in spectacular fashion (you really do need to come along to discover what they get us to do, and it’s different every week). They are a fabulous double-act who continually encourage and motivate us.

“Here are some of the pieces we are currently learning: Any Dream Will Do, Can You Feel the Love Tonight, Holding Out for a Hero, Let It Be, Puttin’ On The Ritz, Ol’ Man River and Skyfall.

“If singing this type of music appeals to you, please come and try us out – remember, we don’t audition!”
